131 Purchases, 16.52x ROAS: Peptide Brand's First Month on Meta in Germany

Peptides sit in a product classification that limits what can be said, shown, and implied in any ad — and getting it wrong doesn’t just mean a rejected ad, it means account termination.
That’s the category this Germany-first Meta campaign had to scale inside, from day one.
CLIENT CONTEXT
A new EU peptides and wellness e-commerce brand, brought on with an expedited onboarding timeline and an aggressive scale target from day one. Germany was the first market to go live, chosen as the initial test market ahead of a planned EU-English expansion.
The client behind this account wasn't new to Meta. They had run campaigns before, but the creatives had stopped passing Meta's review.

THE PROBLEM
Peptide brands on Meta face a constraint most operators don’t fully grasp until it’s too late: the product cannot be advertised for human use. That single classification shapes the entire funnel, creatives, copy, lander, architecture, and the penalty for getting it wrong isn’t a rejected ad. It’s account bans, MATCH listing, and regulatory exposure.
Meta restricts this category by default. Enforcement isn’t consistent or predictable. A compliant, carefully-built creative can still get flagged for reasons that have nothing to do with what triggered an earlier rejection. There’s no definite checklist that guarantees safety, only ongoing judgment calls that need real expertise.
Most operators respond to that uncertainty one of two ways: play it so safe that performance suffers, or push for scale and risk the account entirely. Neither is actually a solution — one trades results for safety, the other trades safety for results.

Every piece of copy and creative cleared a compliance pass before it reached spend. The month tested that discipline repeatedly, not just once.
Week 1: Launched Germany-first, Feed and Story, ages 25-60. A clean copy pass caught one translation error before it shipped. Midweek, the client requested a creative variant our review flagged as ban-risk — it was held, pending sign-off, rather than run. That’s a real cost: a client-approved idea sat unused because it didn’t clear the bar.
Week 2: The ad set driving early results took a hit as a new creative launched and budget shifted mid-test. Cost per purchase climbed and ROAS dropped hard. We tracked it, explained why, and reported it the same week — not smoothed over once the numbers recovered.
Week 3: The newer creative was built specifically as the safer, compliant-first alternative to an earlier flagged issue. It got pulled by Meta anyway — on a different policy ground entirely than the one it was designed to avoid. Not a budget call. A platform enforcement action on the account’s best performer that week. A replacement was already in motion the same week.
Week 4: The account settled into its most stable rhythm of the month, running on the original ad set alone.
Four weeks. Three real compliance tests. Zero account suspensions.
PERFORMANCE DASHBOARD

RESULTS
Full account, Aug 27 – Sep 25, 2026 (30 days), Germany campaign:
- ROAS: 16.52x (blended — total purchase revenue divided by total account spend, not the platform’s displayed per-ad-set average)
- Cost per purchase: $15.28 (total spend / total purchases)
- Purchases: 131
- Spend: $2,002.11
- Purchase revenue: $33,082.72
THE TAKEAWAY
A real month, published in real time, warts included. The dips were reported the same week they happened. The compliance calls were made even when they cost short-term performance. And the account still closed its first month at 16.52x blended ROAS with zero suspensions — in a category that suspends accounts for far less.
For this client, the breakthrough wasn’t a single ad or a lucky campaign. It was building a system that treated compliance as the foundation, and performance as the outcome.
If your last agency’s answer to restricted niche was to play it safe and underperform, or push it and get banned — DM the team to see how we run this one instead.
Disclaimer: These results reflect individual case studies, not guaranteed outcomes. Performance depends on multiple variables including strategy, spend, funnel quality, and niche dynamics.
